Weekend in Darien!

Ok I may or may not have taken that picture out of context. But I did post it on facebook on Saturday to tease Chris. 

In all seriousness, though, it was Chris' birthday last Saturday! We all went out to dinner at Kazu for sushi. Here's a picture of the place from their website:

When we got back from the restaurant, it was time for cake. Inspired by "Cake Boss," Will had produced a pretty extravagant creation: two layers of chocolate cake, connected with chocolate frosting with crushed oreos, topped with vanilla frosting, and covered in a thick layer of crushed oreos. Once we added ice cream too, it was a bit too delicious! 

Overall, it was a great weekend. We relaxed and did some reading.

And I also did a bit of shopping in Darien and got some very nice second hand dresses. I'll post photos of those later this week.
